On Tuesday 8 November, a delegation from the Dutch embassy in Rabat, together with representatives from the Moroccan business community visited Dutch Fresh Port. The mission is part of a MBA course by IAV Hassan II, the agricultural university of Morocco, and is part of a long-term stable collaboration with the Netherlands. Agrologistics and horticulture are the two core themes of the mission. The Greenery Logistics (TGL) fulfills an important role as a logistics hub for products of Dutch soil as well as imported products to the European market. In view of the current energy crisis, the interests from Dutch horticulturists to enter into partnerships with Moroccan horticulturists is increasing. Agrologistics and TGL in particular have an important role to play. The mission was therefore an excellent opportunity to broaden these connections.
